It's a freaking Harley...It gets hot, Sure it runs a bit hotter with it running so lean but still hot...Will making all these mods with fuel mixture make that much difference? Dayhum....I am not sure i want to trade my 07 now...I just had the rear cylinder shutoff installed with a stage I upgrade and it kicked on in the mountains while i was pushing it hard in the twisties....It was hot...I think this option kicks in at 300 degrees so ....Hot is hot....Good luck with your calf heat issue...But coming from a BMW i am not sure that it's easy to compare with older models...I wouldn't know how much heat comes off a pre-2007 big twin....

 

Hmmmm... this is so interesting. I am an 09 RKC, and if anything, I feel the heat under my seat when doing A LOT of local riding with multiple stops.... good luck getting rid of it, and please let us all know what worked!
