none of you guys saw how anthony hopkins cured the heat issue on his old indian in the movie, "worlds fastest indian"? asbestos wrap. hope you find a legitimate cure though, as there have been a bunch of 09's sold and the heat issue has come up many times

Mine is definitely running warmer than the old dyna was. The oil cooler with a built fan looks interesting, may have to check into that a little more.

Default heat on right leg

I think with the redesigned exhaust that the result is less heat on your right thigh, but more heat on your right leg. It seems to be more noticeable when the sun is out or after you get stuck at a few red lights. Its even noticeable at speed some times.

I've got a PCV mapped by Jamie, Stage 1 AC, an oil cooler and am running synthetic. Heat seems to no longer be an issue.

A lot of complaints? More like a few from people who are new to having a 96 CI motor between their legs that is tuned to meet stricter EPA standards.

Yes I went from an '05 Ultra to an '09 a few months ago, and the '09 runs much hotter. The first thing I did was remove the lowers,( have to in south Texas anyway) with not much noticable difference. Am giving a lot of thought to a Power Commander or something similar and running a little richer.

That'll fix it, give Fuel Moto a ring.
