Default Bag Rails on a Road King Classic

I installed the bag rails on an 08 Road King Classic today. I really like the way they look on the bike, but the rail on the clutch side seems to fit different than the rail on the throttle side. Getting to the snap on the bag on the clutch side is pretty difficult. Anyone have a fix for this?

Yep it's a bit difficult to get to at times. I use both index fingers to open bag latches. You will get used to it. Also keep the buckles fairly snug or they will rattle against the guards. Nostalgic guards really set off a classic IMO.

And if the bike ever falls over will save you big $$$ cuz those bags are expensive. The rails on my RK saved my hard bags when the bike took a slow speed spill in the sand on a dirt road a few months ago - the front end washed out in a 3" or 4" deep patch of loose sand and down I went at about 10 mph. No damage at all. The engine guard and the bag rails have very minor scuffs and that's it!
