Installed the herko cam conversion kit, the herko fuel line crossover quick connect, enlarged the oil return holes in his rocker supports and got him a dyno. All went fairly well, no leftover parts. The tab at the rear jug exhaust bracket broke and came off with the exhaust and the bolt at the tranny mounting bracket sheared. Both were replaced easily enough. Had a slight problem removing the cam cover.....that sumabich was practically glued on there. Simply covering with a rag and banging it with a rubber mallet didn't even do the job. Pete loves his bike so his eyes got a little wide with some of the remedies It runs great. I'm waiting to hear from Pete on how the trip back to MA was and how the fuel mileage is. Soos is next in line for the swap.....as long as my prodding convinces him

Must have been an awesome time in the garage. I bet someone will post some pics. Yeow, hittin' the machine with a hammer, hehe. Sometimes you do have to pursuade.

Soos took some pics of shame, I think he's gonna blackmail me. We were up to 4am rockin' and rollin' on it. Then had to be to the dyno for 9am! The boys slept out in the fifth wheel in the drive. I got up at 8 and was nice enough to let them sleep in!

Had a slight problem with mine too. Started with rubber mallet, moved on to a 2 lb plastic dead blow hammer. After progressively hitting harder and harder I decided it had to come off and I would buy a new one if I had too. A few more whacks with the proper attitude and it came right off..

You could've come. I understand you're quite the IT guy so you could've done a web cam.......since you can't tell from a still photo just how long it actually took soos to remove pete's right floorboard
