Default Timing

I keep seeing people talk about retard the timing to fix pinging issue how do i do this on a 07 egc with pcv. Thanx in advance for any help .

If you have the PCV software on your PC, and have the map file that is on your bike in there too, you can open up the file, go to the timing table and start adjusting from there... I would note exactly where in the RPM range you have detonation on your next ride and then go in and adjust the values at those RPM's to start... Keep playin with the amount of timing you take out until you are satisfied... Hope this helps...

I would give Jamie a ring at fuelmoto about timing with a PCV most pc owners use him for tech issues and maps.
