Default What tool do you use to take a-part wire connectors???

I'm going to be installing new bars and going to run the wires inside the bars and need to take a part the wire connectors.
Whats the best tool to take the wire connectors a part?

Large safty pins work the best.

A pick tool works fine. Your HD Service Manual will have a description of how to remove and reinstall the wires/terminals.

I use a pin removal tool from snap on works perfectly for the bar harness plugs.

Never done bars so not sure what connectors are involved, but 100% agree on comment about the service manual. It has a great section about maintaining and working with all the different types of connectors on the bike. They can be quite tricky to figure out

those are deutsch connectors, the best tools is a small pocket screw driver.

You can make a pin tool using a pin vise (from a hobby shop) and a paper clip for the stylus.
