Default 103 question

Does anybody know if my block has to be machined (stock 96 incher) to install the 103 inch kit?

Just swap out the jugs and pistons. use the same heads and cases. no need to machine anything

nope, I had my heads ported and polished since they had them off and got better #'s when it was all said and done... It was worth an extra $400 bucks to have it done

Save your money and have your barrels bored to suit the new 103 or 107 pistons You only need to bore the cases if you go 110 cube or bigger

I thought about that... I would like to minimize the down time. I need to find out what year jugs interchange. It took me 2 days to build my last V-Rod engine and it has alot more parts!

Headquarters sell 107 kits with cams and head work that will get 110/110 easy. Do your home work before buying anything

I dont have the headquarters 107 kit on my bike but what I've read its putting out better numbers than 110/110 with a very flat torque curve. Give them a call or use the search engine on this site for more info. My SE 103 flat tops with andrews 54h cams is 90/105 with SERT down load but I'm waiting on the remapping for the TTS mastertune.
