agent 007, if that is really you, would you care for some cheese with that whine? damm, soon as the yuppies took over harleydom, the 30 somethings are all chasin down new tatts, earrings, etc, and are pissed off cause of their inability to take care of their own machine. even basic maintenence, or for that fact, obviously keeping a good polish on rims that require it. oh well,

There IS a problem with Harley's chrome on the newer bikes. I have ridden Harleys for decades. The oldest being a 1966 model. Have had at least 15 Harleys. Never had a problem with the chrome until I bought this 05 Ultra. I have replaced numerous items because of premature rust. And yes I am **** about cleaning and polishing. My stepson has a two owner 1992Heritage Softail that looks as good as new and maybe gets waxed once a year. So imho there is a problem with the chrome. Should not have to wax ANY chrome weekly if it is any good. On the 1960's and 1970's models when they all had chrome wheels, never waxed wheels weekly. Maybe every couple of months or so. Never had a problem with the chrome.
