Default Airflow of K&N 1508 OEM Replacement Air Filter

Just a question about the K&N stock replacment (part #HD-1508)... Does it have about the same flow as the Harley OEM filter? Or is it a high-flow filter? Thinking of replaceing the Harley OEM filter with the K&N 1508. My bike is otherwise stock, and I just want to make sure that I won't have to get a new map with the K&N OEM replacement. On the other hand, will I get ANY performance improvement with the K&N??

Just my two cents, so you have a response. Using the stock air cleaner housing and only replacing the filter inside is going to render a minimum increase in air flow. Afterall, the air has to get inside that one small hole before it can "flow" to the engine. However, you won't have to replace your air filter, ever, again. Just clean and re-oil it.

I'm using that filter and cut out about 3/4 of the black plastic housing thingy. Don't know how much difference it makes but with stock mufflers you can sure hear it sucking.
