Bummer - my husband was going to borrow my bike for a quick trip tomorrow while his was in the shop. Wanted me to program in a camp ground in Fort Davis and it wouldn't power up. I rode it last night and everything worked fine. Changed seats and today its dead.
Doesn't work on battery, in craddle or come to life when I plug it back into ubs port. Fortunately I have a year left on my warranty.
I checked cables under seat and don't see anything pinched.
Has anybody else had problems with GPS cratering? I've enjoyed thousands of miles with it so I guess I'm surprised it suddenly quit without warning.
Remove the battery from the back of the 550, wait 10 seconds, reinstall and turn on the Zumo. It should start back up.

Mine has done that several times. It has been a long time since I've had to do that, though...probably 10-12k miles since the last time. I thought sure I would have to replace the unit, but it's working great. I've put almost 47,000 miles on the bike and it has been almost 25,000 since I reset the gps mileage. It has rarely been on the bike in town, mostly on the road...
