Default What's a fair price to bore 96 jugs to 103

I'm trying to decide on whether to have the original cylinders bored to 103 or buy new ones. Any ideas on cost savings by using the stock jugs. Any suggestions on shops that do good work at a fair price. Thanks.

Use the 96 jugs as they will bore them to suit your pistons. Make sure whoever you get to bore them use boring blocks.

Generally costs $100-110 to bore out the jugs. As stated, buy a set of pistons and bring them to a shop with your jugs. They'll throw 'em on torque plates and bore 'em out to spec on the pistons provided.
