It's flammable.
I just got into the detailing thing fairly heavy, go over to autogeek, some great info. Ordere dup some killer polish, selaer, and wax. No more Turtle for me that's for sure.
One great wax that isn't a cleaner, is the Pig Snot, wonderful wax that I have used for awhile on my bike.

I think the folks putting "Ice" on top of a already waxed bike are having the "Ice" disolve the old wax. That is creating some of the problems that ahave been stated. I put it on my new SG as the first coat of anything and had great results. great shine and easy on and off. Great product!

I was looking at it the other day , and they have 2 different one's. I think one is the wax and the othe ris a quick detailer.
I bought both. I figured if you are gonna jump off the bridge, jump head first! I mean, it aint garbage, but it aint the best thing I have used either. I would really like to know just what is in it considering the "Kerosene like" smell.....

Funny how so many different people having different results, You would think if it works on one it would work on all of them, I tried it and found it to work great. It does not dry like reg wax does.

Hey I have used Ice and find it great stuff but opinions are like ........ everyone has one. I don't find my decisions affected by what I read on this forum. Though it is fun to read some of the posts. If it works for me I use it, if not then onto something else.

Funny, I thought that we weren't supposed to use WAX on these new clear coat finishes.
I only use 'Polishes' The Bomb or WhamBam are the only thing I use. easy to apply and great protection. I do take care to use only windshield cleaner/polish on my Clearview.

I believe it is to wait 30 days on new paint before waxing. I wouldn't personally use anything other than a very mild product on new paint for a month.
As per the kersosene smell, yep somethings in there. With prosucts like that, if you only use them, oddsa are you'll be fine. But, if you have polish and wax, odds are strong alcohol based products will simply eat/clean off/through your polish/wax.
Last year I used the Meguire's 3 step and added Pig Snot over top of carnuba, never had better, now I'm getting these killer products to replace the meguries stuff.
best steps...IMHO
1. cleaner
2. polish
3. sealer
4. wax.
5. wax after 24 hours
6. another wax...deep wet shine.

I agree with your steps, but Zanios or Tropicare is the only product to use IMO.

Maybe it's because the Left Coast gets different products, but the only good thing here for Turtle products is making soup! I once veered away from Zymol when it disappeared from WallyWorld (temporarily) and switched to a Meguiar's product. Poor shine, powdery (remember Turtle) residue and greasy feel. Once I switched back to (Target's) Zymol, it's smooth 'n shiny.

rinse
wash
blow
towel
wax
polish
spray distilled water mist
polish
Voila!
