I subscibe to Hot Bike Baggers but will not renew. I like the mag but there is a common theme. It's a FBI advertisement for one. Two, it needs better and more Tech articles, more touring articles and articles without that one writer knucklehead who is a complete a moron and about as interesting as watching ice melt. I think the dude is touring Georgia now. Like wow. How about an article about running up to Alaska or doing an Iron Butt or something... How about letting real riders (not me) provide real touring/riding experiances. How about some real coverage on Sturgis? Not just, "Hey everyone showed up" and here are 30 one inch pictures of the same three bikes and girls spread out over 5 pages.

Also, every bike feature is the same....like:

Jimmy bought his 08 Street Glide from xx dealer.
Jimmy put on some super awesome rims from xxx to set that ****** off!
Jimmy had Jethro at xxx painting Paint the bike some Awesome friggin killer bad color.
Jimmy put on some kuryakyn ISO grips and PM floorboards!!!
Build time 6 months and 20 thousand dollars.

Although American Baggers (the other Mag) is written at a 7th grade reading level, it's full of tech articles and you know, some stuff to kinda keep you interested. I prefer this Mag over the other one and is perfect crapper reading material.

I personally like Hot Bike Bagger the best, because I like the layout. I recently received a free issue of American Bagger when I bought a part and really liked their Tech section better. They really made me think I could change out a clutch using their mag! I subscribed to it the next day... So, I have both, and I like them both, but if I had to choose I'd say HBB.

This is an "antique thread"......

From American Bagger Magazine:
We regret to inform you that American Bagger magazine has ceased publishing, with the March 2019 issue being the final published.

American Rider and Rider are among the few national motorcycle publications still producing magazines, and both publish issues 12 times a year.
