2007 Heat Remedies?

I did several things to make heat a non-issue.
1. True duals
2. Arlen Ness air cleaner
3. SERT and dyno tune - AFR 13.6
(1-3 = stage 1 upgrade)
4. HD premium oil cooler
5. Synthetic oil
Bike runs at 180 to 190 on the road. The heat to my legs is not a problem when stopped. Another big plus is the heat to my wife from the stock right side pipe.
The stage 1 upgrade did the most to help comfort. The oil cooler and synthetic oil was done for engine longevity. Keep in mind that the TC96 is air AND oil cooled.
I refer to all this as "The Harley Tax." In my opinion, it has to be done just to get the bike to run right.

Not sure if I agree with this 100%. I agree that it feels cooler but I don't know think it actually lowers the temp of the engine. I tried it last summer on my Road Glide and it felt cooler but I am not convinced that it will lower the temp. Any one with a temp gauge to verify???

Unlike you, I'm good with feeling cooler without reading a temperature gauge.
