Default tour pak detachment confusion

I want to get the brackets to make my tour pak removable on my 01 Ultra. I've found two different bracket set from Harley and I'm not sure which one I need.

The first is part number 53276-04. It looks like this.

The second is part number 53303-07. It looks like this.

The first one is much cheaper and does not appear to include the hardware to dock it to the bike. The second, while much more expensive does. Other than the docking hardware, are they the same? This is confusing as hell. Other than the hardware, they look the same to me.

Your correct, and it's always the most expensive.

That's what I though, but I was trying to figure out why there is over a $100 difference in the kits and the only difference in the kits is the addition of the docking hardware kit which is only $55.

The 2nd kit has a little more to it. It does include your Antenna relocation hardware and a new License plate bracket. Your old one does not work with the detach kit. I used the 2nd on a 08 Ultra and worked great.

remember though if you want to add a removable sissy bar and pad that not only do you need the bar and the pad you need more docking hardware also... Your looking at about 600.00 total .. I have all the stuff on my 06..

You may want to go with a hidden antena (checker amplified) and laydn lisc plate bracket, then you just need the first kit. Hidden antena's don't work as well in the country as the external whip so I got a y connection for when the tour-pak is on fr www.hifisoundconnection.com #BAAY2F. This way you have the best of both.
