Default How would blacking out a Road King Classic look?

I'm wondering, especially with the 2010 colors out (black and white?) how it would look to start blacking out either that or a 2009 vivid black RKC.

Would it look good or kind of off?

It will look sweet! Word of caution though, powder coating is extremely addictive.

You should do it.
I doubt it's ever been done.
You may start a trend!

I think it would look good. Somebody posted a thread on here a while back of some photos of a 50's era motorcycle riding club. Seems like the front ends on those bikes were blacked out. I have seen some pictures of some of the Billy Joel retro style bikes and they had quite a bit of black on them. I went in the other direction and chromed mine out so what do I know:

I bet it would look really good but even if you don't like it, black parts are hot right now, you could take them back off, sell them and get most of your money back I would think. Just don't forget to post pics either way.

I think someone on here has a blacked out roadglide with rk classic or custom bags on it. so that would give you a rough idea how the rear could look.
