Talking Another Hang Around in the mix

Hello all. I just bought my first ride (06EGS) a couple months ago and have been "hanging around" the forum since then. I have read a lot of valuable information. While I am new to riding, I have worked on HDs since the early 80s. Mostly light stuff in the neighbors garage or living room, but I've also done some heavy stuff like cams, jugs, heads, etc.

I am glad to see we are not the I only ones to make a mistake now and again. I am also glad to see so many experts.

Keep em coming.

i'd have not found the confidence to do some of the work without the valueable information in here. i've always enjoyed building parts for my hot rods, and harleys are just a smaller version of those. and i really love chuckin up a piece of aluminum, sparkin up the heliarc, or spinning some cool stuff for the one off approach. the harleys are weird, as they're very simple, yet very complicated in other ways. a great brain tease, and i love monkeying around with them. glad you found the forum.
