For 10k, he could have bought a very late model liter bike that has 160HP and the brakes and suspension to utilize it?

$10,000 will get you an FBI motor, Jims motor, close to a Patrick's Racing motor or an S$S 124" with that power and a couple grand in your pocket...110/110 is very very possible with a 103" andit only costs a couple grand...there is no replacement for displacement but to put that kind of money into a HD motor is silly...IMHO, I would have doen an S&S 124" with a Baker tranny...

My 09 FLHTP with the stock 103 puts out 102 foot lbs.. I haven't checked since I added the Fuelmoto air, PC-V, and V&H slip ons. But judging by feel it's at least 10 more.

Definitely possible. How (and why) you spend $10k on a 110 is a mystery, when you can go bigger for less...

Id say that hes telling the truth. Id be upset if it were any less than that. Especially for that kind of money.

The cost is more of a surprise than the "numbers" are.

Reality calling fantasyland..... NUMBERS DON"T MEAN ****. RIDEABILITY is what MATTERS!

Mine (HQ120) makes "numbers", but if it did not have great rideability... I'd be PISSED!

For the record, I am NOT pissed.

Yes, it is conceivable, but geez, $10k for the engine. Good god man, I dont have 2/3 of that in my 120 and it is way beyond what a 110 can produce.
