Default repair/maintenace manuals

I was looking for a reair and maintenance maual to start doing some work on my RK Custom 05. I see JP's has some for road kings up to the year 2003. Where did the rest of you get yours?

I think that most of us are buying them from the dealer. We buy the HD manual, and the HD parts book too. I have both for the 06 Touring line up.

I have the same and it is money well spent. Had to use the service manual yesterday to set the idle cable on the fuel injected twin cam. Had to break out the ohm meter per the book to set it right. Book describes everything needed to be done very clearly.

same here. From HD they will cost you just under $100.00 for both. Amust if you do your own work.

Don't forget the Electrical Diagnostics Manual....

It is a wealth of knowledge irt the ECM/ICM, TSM/TSSM, Speedo, DTC's (Trouble Codes), Flowcharts to help narrow down those pesky electrical gremlins.....

Full Wiring Diagrams......

And the most often overlooked manual.....

It also shows you how to do alot of the Digital Tech things Manually, Like replacing a TSM/TSSM, and marrying it to the bike....

I brought the two dvd set fix my hog, and since my brother and I both brought RKC 06, he is going to buy the manuals and we can share!
The dvds are real good if you want to see how maintenance is done on the your touring bike, step by step.

The HD manuals are very good. Often better than the instruction sheets that come with new add-ons.
