I said I wasn't gonna do but I just couldn't help it...
Wife was happy with the sound of the stock exhaust so I said it wasn't gonna replace 'em. Mind you, this is my 5th HD and ALL the ones before sported open drag pipes. She's never ridden with me over the past 23 years but has now decided too. And she likes it! So to be kind to her wishes, I was going to keep it quiet. Well, she started making fun of me to a friend the other day... a winger at that!!! (he had just replaced his exhaust and made the wing "slightly" louder). That's all it took. Visited the stealer this morning and made the appointment for the 1st week in May to install SE performance slip-ons, SERT, and Stage 1... FINALLY, it'll sound like a Harley... Let the wife know this afternoon the scoot will get a little louder and she just smiled and said "alrighty then". The woman has turned into a biker... and after 23 years! She's loving it!!! AND SO AM I!!!!!! Life it good!

I got the SEII's and the SE air kit and remap. Runs strong and sounds great.
BTW, TerryT, my first wife didn't mind the bike or the pipes...she just couldn't stand me. I know that I'm a lot happier with my new Super Glide than I would be having wife #1 back!!!

I remember when I sold my last bike and bought this one, my wife and I went on a ride and she said to me that it sounded like a Honda. Well it doesn't anymore! She loves it! [sm=smiley20.gif]

Man, that sounds like a slam. If it did, I'd change that in a hurry.

Mine loves the sound and loves the vibes. When I had my softail she loved the vibes and now that I have the bagger, she misses the vibes but loves the comfort. Women always come around to our way of thinking....it's called conditioning or marriage....something like that.
Congrats on your ride...
