I have to agree with most. The BUB 7 TD's are quiet a bit louder than stock. Equal to Rineharts... but deeper. The best part is the stepped header.

They are really noticeable when you get on them. They turn a lot of heads and quiet a few people come over to look at them.

Everyone around here, (outside of the dealer pushed SE's), has "Duncan Hines", then Rinehart, followed by Thunderheader.

At idle, the slipon's are actually louder than the TD's. The TD's though make up for it when you get on them. Maybe it's just me, or my bike in particular, but the only pipes that I've ever heard close to as loud as my BUB's were the Rineharts, V&H Long-shots and Short radius.

Maybe it's just where I live, but outside of drag pipes with fishtails, and the one's I've listed above, I really haven't heard anything louder on a stock bike?

To prove the point that the Slipon's are louder than the TD's, I made a short video of the 2 at idle side by side. Granted both were cold and the idle is higher than at running temperature, but it does prove that the Slips are louder at idle and cruising speed than the TD's. The TD's do however bark louder under power.

Both are un-baffled.

Yachtman,
Thanks for the suggestion. I am in fact using tapered gaskets the HD dealer sold me. As much as I dont want to take it loose again, I think the flats will get my pipe off the left panel. I dont think I'll mess with the front pipe.
