+1

I know you'd love the MO's if you gave them a shot.

I'm running true duals with crossover pipe. I don't think there is much of a difference in loudness between the true duals and the duals with crossover version.

If I recall the Bub 7s are rated about 4 db quieter than Rineharts.

MC are the Monster Ovals much deeper in tone than the Bub 7s?

I find them very similar in tone.... Its line ball as to which is deeper in tone. I am running the V&H Full system so they are louder than they were with the stock head pipes on..

The main reason for changing to MO was the look, I was very happy with the sound of the bubs but I just prefered the look of the MO . I have a Rocker that has Big Radius so thats the loud one. The RK is a bit more subtle

Benefit from being heard with Bub 7s???

You guys make these sound like Thunderheaders, based on how you're describing them. I'm telling you , they're not that loud.

on the true dual setup the quiet baffles are just over a hundred buckaroos. I'd go that route before losing the money by selling. the original baffels are open all the way through (2-2.5 inch maybe?) whereas the quiet baffles are perferated and have a plug in the center. so even if the packing does burn out over time they will still be somewhat quieter than the original. the only thing is.......as of last month Bub did not have a quiet baffle for the "slip-on's" yet. there is a difference between the slipons and the true dual muffs (for one the inlet size at the headpipe end, larger on the true duals) quiet baffles are rated at 8 to 9db quieter than the original baffles. If I was to compare to a sound equivilent it would be to the VH basic slipons maybe a teensy weensy bit quieter(buddy of mine just put a set of the VH basic slipons on). thats my .02
hope that helps

Dude you must be hard of hearing....there is a big difference over stock.
a buddy of mine has a thunder header on his RKC and my Bub 7s are just as loud and I think louder than his.....he has the 2 to 1...even has the shorter one that ends under the right bag.
very subjective!
just sayin.....
looks like you just have the slipons. difference between those and the true duals. true duals use a larger diameter headpipe...or technically a stepped headpipe. the inlet on the true dual muffs are a tad larger than the slipon muffs.....maybe that makes a difference, dunno.
