I have the reduced reach on my 09 Street Glide - I agree with Doombuggy and Hammerhead about the install - you need a new Clutch - that is all. Dealer charged me 3 hours - 270 bucks.
They set them up so my knuckles are just under the fairing mirrors.
I have no idea what they are talking about as far as wrist angle - I guess they put a death grip on them or something because I don't have a problem at all - I put on the Kury ISO grips when I did it, no problems.
My back problems are gone. I highly recommend them

Default Thanks Hammerhead, and Corvettes are cool too!

Thanks guys for all the info. Looks like I'll be finding a pair of reduced reach bars, and yes I have a manual. As for corvettes, I've had 9. Everything from a 1969 L88 convertible that I had Bloomington Gold Certified, to a couple of 57's that I brought home in 3 truck loads. Enjoyed them all, but the Road King is just as much fun and takes up less room in the garage.

Wrist angle has nothing to do with a death grip. Its pretty simple. With my bars my wrists are straight and they are not twisted at all. Pretty simple concept.

After looking at the picture of Lowridin_packer's bike I may try lowering mine a little more and see if that helps the wrist position a bit. Mine are definitely higher then his.
