Default Stock 08 vs 09 drag race

Raced a buddy yesterday who has a new 09 FLHX. He stayed just behind me all the way. I've got the PCV, A/C, & Jackpots setup & he just put Rinehart Bubs on and nothing else yet. Has anyone dragged an 08 vs 09 both stock? Seems the new gearing makes the 09 alot quicker. I've noticed a big difference in power with Jamie's setup. Not that I want to change anything, just curious how many of us 08 owners have had our a$$es kicked.

Maybe the gearing tranny is different? Other than that, I think it would have to do with the skill of the rider, not the bikes. A stock 96 is a stock 96, even if it's on a new frame.

The sprocket has changed on the 09. Pretty sure he was one gear higher than me.
