What do you spend it on and why?

Pics appreciated.

Solo seat.
Power duals, probably monster ovals or basic slip ons, depending on what sound you like.
Flush mount fuel gauge and filler.
Trim rings - headlight, turn signals, passing lamps
Air Cleaner

Save the rest for a S&S 106 kit or 124 kit depending on how far you wanna go.

I am sure people will offer plenty of great suggestions but save $50 for the fork lock cover. It covers up that ugly part you have to look at while you are riding. Seemed ridiculous when I saw the price but I love it.

Well, $2000 will almost get you to where the bike should probably be off the showroom floor. ;-)

Pipes, AC, fuel controller - $700 - $800
Oil cooler + install $400 - $500
4-pt mounts, sissy bar, backrest $400
Magnetic covers for bolt heads on 4-pt mount $40

Damn... I should have applied myself more...

Do what you like, that's what's fun about it, learning what is out there and adding what you feel you need/want first. For some it's performance, for others it may be comfort or chrome. Have fun with it...!

I guess like everyone else A/C, tuner and pipes are probablyone of the first changes I make. Also big on ISO-Grips and a seat/handlebar combination that makes riding comfortable. After all, I'll be in that position a lot. Oil cooler next if there's any money left.

I forgot pics- flush gauges and trim rings attached.

As ATC said you gotta figure out what you like first. show vs go, black vs chrome, the options are limitless.
