Ok, so you have a 2009 Road King Classic and $2000 to drop on add-ons/labor...

09 RK seat is a 1 peice seat. On my old 1997 I just removed the pad, but for the 09 I had to buy a solo..

Tourpack was a great investment.... I LOVE being able to throw some junk in my trunk and go! After that was the Stage 1 upgrade, then the bars, and then the seat. Might just push you over the $2000.00 mark, but don't worry, the check from Obama is on it's way to you for voting him in... he promised!!

I would get a maintenance manual first and save on the labor for allof your bolt on upgrades.
Torque Wrench
Good Quality Torx Sockets (T27 very important) and Thin wall sockets
SE Slip On
Chrome Fender Bottom tip
Saddle bag Bars
Break and Shifter Billet Arms
Trim Wind shield
Front and Back Fender rails
Up Graded Shifter linkage
SE Air Intake
Bars to suit
4 point mount for back rest and rack.
After that Cams and Tuner

I went with this list (for a 2009 Turquoise/Antique white without ABS):
Signature solo seat with backrest (and matching passenger pillion with it's own backrest)
Switched handlebars with a Heritage Softail Classic
Completely chromed the handlebar switches
Braided chrome wires
Front fork lock
Vance and Hines slip ons with fishtails
The new air cleaner that's kind of an oval shape
Lowering kit
Trim rings for everything on the front of the bike
I should be taking delivery on the 26th, if the lowering kit can be found and delivered this week. They didn't have the kit in stock.
Needless to say, I'm a little excited.

Buy yourself a $2000.00 gas card and ride the skins off that thing. Believe me when I say this. Spending 2 grand on your bike is like buying 2 grand worth of crack. It wont be the last time you spend 2 grand. This is a terrible addiction, but I'm lovin every minute.
Next month is chrome upper and lowers for the front.
I do want to get bigger tires and wheels. Spokes are nice, but I'm lazy at heart and don't really want to be checking them/cleaning them all the time.
