07 Road King won't start
I've got a friend with a 07 Road King with 1800 miles and will not start. I rode it last about 3 weeks and ago and he hasn't taken it out since. No issues when I took it down the road. I've had him check the normal, battery cables, kill switch.
Any ideas? I've got a Heritage and I'm not familiar with the RK or the 96 engine.
I'm sure it's something simple. I'm going over tomorrow afternoon and any ideas for me to check would be great. One thing I haven't checked yet is the starter wire.

On the 2007's there is a Harley Service document issued that talks about the need to re-torque the starter bolts. My 2007 EGC did the same thing. I took it to the dealer and they fixed it by re-torquing those mounting bolts and I have never had another problem. I think it is a grounding issue. I hope this helps.

I had same thing happen unexpectedly last week on my 07 FLHTP...checked fuses, battery connections, etc. Found a post on here regarding the fuel supply quick disconnect on the lower rear left side of gas tank. I disconnected it by pushing up the chrome sleeve and reconnected it....started right up. My symptoms was that it turned over but would not fire. I figure I must have bumped it loose when jockeying it around in the garage. btw very little gas leaks out...put a towel over your heads if you try it

Thanks for all the quick replies. It does nothing when pushing the starter button. (just like if the alarm was set) I'll have to check the lights as I think he said they were on. He did not check the fuses yet and that is were I planned on starting. BTW, where are the fuses on this bike?
I'll know more info this afternoon after I look at in person.
