Ok the wife is driving me nuts to see an Ultra in this color, has anybody seen one or have any pictures of one. It would be a help it will be a 2 1/2 hour drive to a dealer with one in stock.

 

I posted a thread wife want's me to get a Ultra and a lot of it has to do with this color very nice. Let us know if you get one

Can I take it for a test ride to see if I like the color when I'm going down the road to C-town ?

 

I was disapoiinted, however the dealer told me it looks a lot better in the sun. I would suggest asking them to take it outside when you find one. I thought I would like this best of the special colors, but the Black Ice/Blue Ice is my personal favorite.

You mean that purple color?? LOL J/K. My buddy and his wife picked up a RKC in that color. Looks awesome in the sun!

I say it's worth the drive if it will make the wife happy. You want to be happy with the way the bike looks when you're riding it. When I was shopping for my bike, Pacific Blue Pearl, I bought it sight-unseen. No dealer in Central or Northern California had one, and I wasn't about to drive 6 hours to LA to see it. I love the color so all's good but I was nervous up until I received it.

 

Yes, I was trying to be careful because I have not seen it in the sun. I personally like purple, but sometimes I just don't know when to stop typing.
