Default saddle bag lid covers

has anyone used the h-d saddle back lid covers? i have a set and they look horrible. i cannot get the wrinkles out. anyone have the same problem and how did you get them out? my wife keeps scratching mine. i was thinking about some kind of stuff they spray in as a bed liner. was wondering what that would look like? has anyone done this?

Warm them and stretch them to apply. I use Lid Covers by Ride Tek.
