Floorboards inserts

RE: Floorboards inserts
I did use the soap trying to remove the old ones. The guy I got the bike from never cleane dit, other than hosing it off. The bottoms of the boards are so full of pits and rust, I did what I coudl to clean them up a little and protect them with polish. Guess this is an area we tend to neglect when cleaning our bikes. The first one I tried ever so gently to work out and it basically crumbled, si I started ripping and tearing. No biggie, not lile I would ahve ever reused the old one, or what maybe I could have sold them for $10 at the most.
Firehawk...No doubt! Suprises me it wasn't true on my part That's why, other than very simple jobs, I I simply pay the man to do for me! Funny, stuff liek this is torublesome, but intricate guitar repair is a no brainer for me.
