at first, I didn't think I'd like my "Geezer Glide". seemed big and bulky and would prolly be slow. But, the wife insisted on the back seat of the Ultra over the road king (something about the size of the seats compared to the size of her.....). didn't take long to realize what a nice handling bike it is. I've ridden other bikes through the years and nothing compares to how smooth of a ride on an ultra. drove from Austin to New Orleans a couple weeks ago 2-up on the bike....easy ride and wasn't tired when I got there. Great "Geezer Glide" as far as I'm concerned.

I have a buddy that bought a streetglide and is slowly changing it into an Ultra. Congrats and here's to many years and miles.

Get a quick release tour pack and a solo seat and you will have the best of both worlds. Here is a pic of mine

good for you. probably a great choice, as if you wanted a street glide, you can use the detatchable hardward and voila, you got a streetglide with extra chrome to boot. us with streetglides who want the ammeneties of an ultra gotta shell out big bux for the lowers and tour pack, etc. congradulations, i bet you're tickled, as well you should be.

Tom from http://harleygoodies.com/ here. Congrats on the new bike. You do not have to be a geezer to ride one. Sounds like you made the right choice.

Best regards,
Tom
