Trying to Decide on a 19" Front Wheel for the FLHX...
Looks like I am probably going to be selling my GTO so I will have some free cash to get a nice 19" front wheel for the FLHX. I do not plan on getting a rear wheel since you can hardly see it plus I want to keep the ride as low as possible (I am 5'6" so I wouldn't get an 18" rear).
I can't seem to make up my mind as to which wheel I want so I was looking for any new idea's as well as what you all thought of the two Renegade Wheels.
I am looking for a clean/sharp wheel to go with the bike, nothing gaudy.
Also, anyone know of a place to pick up a Renegade Elite Series Wheel at a good price?
1) This is the wheel I am leaning towards right now; Multi-Piece Renegade Monterey
2) This is my second choice, I think it adds a little bit of character; Multi-Piece Renegade Venice

I am only 2in taller then you. I went with an 18 front and rear. One reason I went with the 18 over the 19 is because my dealer told me that 19in tires are not as easy to find.
I lowered the front of the bike. I don't have too many problems with the height. I am comfotable with it. As far as the rear wheel, you do see it in my opinion.
I likeboth of the wheels you are looking at. I know that doesn't help lol

Was going to vote but decided not to when you said you weren't going to buy a rear wheel. I see the mismatched look on what would be really sharp bikes on here and wonder what are the people thinking. Understand what you are saying with seeing little of the rear wheel but I just don't like the mismatched look. JMO
Good luck with your choice, you're starting with a good foundation (FLHX) so you really can't go wrong.

Sell a GTO to buy one rim? Kinda tacky to only have one. Did I already mention sell a GTO? What are you thinking?
Harley's with custom rims are a dime a dozen. Means nothing. If you can't afford two rims (plural) keep the stock rims, and for heavens sake keep the GTO!!!
Sheesh!
