I actually went with an 18" first, then replaced it with a 21" You can see more of the wheel with a 21", unless you go with one rotor or a 360 brake set-up. And I also agree with bigskyhd regarding mismatched wheels, eventhough the bike is lowered, you can still see a little of it, and if you're at all like me, it will bug the crap out of you! If you also decide later on to get the matching rear, you may have a problem finding the same style. Took me a month to find the 21" since it had been discontinued since I purchased it....
I like them both but would probably go with the first one since it's probably a bit cheaper. It's almost a waste of money to upgrade these bikes since you can't see the rear wheel and the front is covered by duel rotors so it would basically be the simpler lines vs too fancy to be seen.
If you dont want to go the 21" route gliders 18" is a steal. 19'' is just an odd size. but its your scoot. also plus like 10 on changing the rear wheel as well. you paid $20,000 for a bike the least you can do is pop for the extra $1000 for the rear.
What year GTO? I had a 64 in Marimba Red, God I miss that car............... Had the build sheet, original interior, numbers matching 389 4spd............. Don't do it! Harleys are a dime a dozen................
My opinion id go 21" but if your set on the 19 go with the simple blade style wheel the contrast cut looks sharp too. Also that guy with the 18" has a good price good deal man!
I would get the used wheel for $650. Then get the matching rear. I was mismatched for a year. It bugged me. I was suprised how much of a difference it did make. It is making me think twice about stretched bags.
