Has anyone got the faring bra and installed it? I just bought my 09 SG and purchased it out of town. I had them install it for the trip home and now I want to take it off. But I see that I need to separate the inner and outer faring to remove it. It says three bolts on each side I think. Anybody know the location of these bolts?

 

The three bolts are the three windshield screws. Use a T27 torx bit/driver on them. There are metal tabs attached to elastic fabric tucked between the inner and outer fairings that are also removed.

Edit: Read the next post; better description. Mine has been off the bike for some time. Better still, stop by an HD store parts counter and ask for a print out of the instructions that come with the kit.

 

one below the mirror on each side , one at the bottom of the tree each side, remove head light ring, and loosen three at the top of the fairing. All just need to be loosened and not removed.
