Does Harley make a kit for putting Ultra lowers on a Street Glide.

Yes. The crash bar is the same. Lowers just bolt up.

Yes you can buy the lowers in the accessory catolog and they bolt onto the crash bars as the bars are the same on the ultra, classic, streetglide and standard electraglide so you just have to match your color and decide if you want the vented or non vented lowers. IMHO I would only buy the vented lowers as there is not much of a price difference. You can buy the vented lowers from one of the discount places like Zanotti's in PA or Chicago HD for about $520 plus shipping HD retail is about $650. I was looking at making that purchase but it may have to wait until later in the year.

If you do the lowers and don't need the glovebox talk to Pez at hogtunes the speaker set up for them is excellent.

next time you're at the harley dealership ask them for a parts and accesories catalog, they are listed in there, and in the 09 catalog they're on page 416 and cost $649.95 the color matched to your bike. and that's the vented fairing lowers. there is also quick detach hardware so you can remove them easily if you like. i hope this helps to answer your question.

The lowers are great. Last Summer I removed the adjustable part and just left them off. Good compromise. Lots of air flow for the engine but still blocks enough wind on cool mornings. Like others here, I would recommend them.

You will notice a medium amount of heat increase dur to the fact that you will be diverting some air from the front of the bike. I live in Fla nd remove mine in the summer then reinstall in the winter or when touring+300 miles per day.
They will just bolt on the OEM bar. Get the vented!!!!

Thanks for all the good info. I have an '09 catalog, but wanted to get some input from the guys in the know. I too will have to waite awhile untill business picks up. Anyway a new seat will probably come first. The stock one requires a stop about every 150 miles or so. Any advise there? I have a 30" inseam.
