They may have a map database to pick from or they sold your buddy all Harley parts and are just picking a calibration file that matches the parts list.

You are right. If you were to also add an oil cooler it would help the heat as well. On 80+ degree days. I run about 230 deg. Oil temp. This is with fairing lowers which reduces air to motor. My CLB's are 739 using oil cooler and Syn 3

The dealer more than likely has a large database of tuned MAPS. I have the MAP for every bike i've ever tuned in SERT ans SEST, I don't bother saving the PC MAPS i've tuned though. In other words, the dealer probably jst put a MAP in the bike that he tuned on someone elses with the same build. It's really no differn't than what FuelMoto is doing. It's a tuned MAP to a bike with the same or very similar build, but it's not a tuned MAP to your specific bike.

Money is the factor in all of this right...$300.00.for SE breather and stageI versus about $600.00... I opted for stage I because i ended up with$250.00 for everything...Got a bit more power which is what i wanted..If i got with anything else i am gonna go all out and to a 103 kit...If i had $600.00 to drop on it i would've might gone with Fuel moto...

Notgrownup. If all you did was the dealer download you are still running lean and hot you didn't increase your power at all.
