Default Wide band 02 sensor

Is it possible to buy an off the shelf wide band 02 sensor from parts store, install it, and work fine with the ECM, or will you need to reprogram the ecm. If anyone has done this, where did you buy it, brand, p/n.

Thanks

Mac

02 sensors are pretty sensitive to vibration and with all the vibs that go on on a Harley, I don't know if you could find one that would last.

As for the ECM goes, from my understanding it is not the type of ecm that reads O2 and adjusts itself for lean or rich conditions.

It would be great if Harley had this type of setup though.

A wide-band sensor will definitely not work with the stock ECM. The only wide-band systems I know of for HD's are the ThunderMax (not available for TBW yet) and the PCV-Auto Tune, which works with all Delphi (2002-2009) bikes. The PCV-AT uses a Bosch w/b sensor and I assume the T'Max does also.
