Default Dresser Duals noise

I have the Dresser Duals on my Ultra Classic. I get a noise ever once in awile. I noticed that it is my Inspection plate for my state inspection sticker that is mounted close to the slip ons. I have to check it ever now and then. It ends up making noise and I have to tighten it. Just a thought other than that no issues with the duals. Hope it helps.

If they're new, return them. I had the same baffle rattle with my new Rinehart TDs and they replaced both mufflers, including shipping. Sent me out a new set and I returned the mufflers in the same box.

Look to see if you have a crack in the left side pipe support bracket above the tranny. Also check the rubber isolators at the end of the mufflers. I have had both fail on my 04 which allows excessive vibration. Hope this helps

The pipe is so close to the side cover on the left of my bike that you can't get the cover off without unbolting the muffler and pulling the pipe away from the bike. On acceleration, the pipe hit the cover. No amount of readjusting fixed it. I finally put a felt pad between the pipe and cover. Never heard it again.

Make sure the bracket by the starter is secure!

I have TD on my 2005 RKC.
The sound you describe could be caused by having a loose heat shield somewhere along the pipe. There are adjustable clamps all along the back of heat shields. Give me all a good turn with a screwdriver.

The left side on my stock pipes makes a squeaking sound @ idle. Im thinking it's the isolater.
