Does your 09 use oil?

I've got an 09 Ultra and just returned from a 3200 mile trip. I added a quart of oil at the half way point, and checked the oil when I returned home, and I'm down a half quart.

I had an 05 RKC before this, and never had to add oil between changes.

Anyone else experience this with their 09's

My 09 doesn't use any oil at all. My 04 used a quart every 2k until they replaced the valve guide seals. Several trips to the dealer and an oil fouled rear plug before they would do anything.

How many miles you got on it? It takes about 5000 miles to wear in to the point were it uses much less oil.

My 07 SG does'nt use oil between changes. It's 2 years old and has about 32,000 mile on her! Something is WRONG with your bike. Take it to the dealer.

Mine has 7000 miles on it now and doesn't use oil.

Same here. 08 Ultra and no oil used like that here.
