Agreed...When I hit 175 miles on the trip meter I start looking for a station to fill up at. I never depend on the gauge as it is not that accurate.
175??? I start to panic when I hit 140.... I've been in the boat of pushing my bike (a old Honda) for a mile or two when I ran out of gas......
Like everyone else, I go by mileage, not the gauge. I use it as a guide, but the mileage is the final say! (Unless one of my kids learns how to reset this one too!)
