The SG seat rubs the paint at the back mount and at the front on the gas tank. Put some clear packing tape put on those spots. If you do it right, you can't see the tape under the seat. If you don't do that, you will rub a spot on your fender that will show if you decide to use a solo seat. Other than that, all I've done so far is add a 8 inch windshield and lots of wax for the bugs.
Oh, I did add a detatchable tourpack.

Good choice
Just traded up my 06 Classic for an 09 Street Glide as well. All the things you have read and heard about the new 09's can be verified with one good test ride. My Classic feels like a tank compared to the Street Glide's handling, riding comfort, appearance, and power. my first post here and let's just say I am a believer after my ride. Also tested the Road Glide which I wanted to like to be different than all my buddies bikes, but the Street Glide won me over and there is a reason it's Harley's number one seller. So.. good choice and congrats. Enjoy, I know I will!

I have a '09 and have absolutly no complaints. But, if I was in the market for a new bike, and because the announcements of the 2010 models are right around the corner, I'd wait a bit. Not just that but once the 2010's are introduced, you may likely get a better deal on a out going '09. Just food for thought............Rich
