Shelf life on oil?

Heres the simplest answer for you if your oil is sitting on the shelf for 2yrs YOU ARE NOT RIDING ENOUGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
case of oil is 12 qts. Each change is at 3 to 4 thousand. miles so run more miles Case of oil won't last me a year.

I'm thinking that I will expire before the oil on my shelf does.
