I replaced the "security screw" with a thumb screw, got it from a guy on the Zumo forum. When I stop, I just pop it out of the cradle and lock it in the tourpak. Just takes a couple of seconds, and it's worth it to me for peace of mind.

I never leave my GPS on my bike, I take it off and either lock it in the tour pak or put it in my pocket. The way I see it all a crook has to do is loosen the **** for the RAM mount, cut the pig tail and take the whole shebang...

I don't leave my riding glasses on the bars either. Just makes sense.

I take mine off and lock it the hard bag just for peace of mind but with low price of GPS units now, I don't worry about it much.

I don't have one, but use some quality handcuffs to cuff it to the bars somehow. that is what I do with my helmet.

I've got the locking **** on my Zumo 550, but if I'm going to be out of sight of the bike, I still take it off and lock it in the tour pack...
