We should guess what year and model your bike is???

+2 on contacting Head-Quarters about cams. Check-out their website for info on cam selection.

What ever you do, don't call Head-Quarters...well unless you want to spend some money and get a REALLY nice cam set for your scoot! Seriously though, Doug is a wealth of knowledge and will get you headed in the right direction depending on what you are trying to accomplish. Head-Quarters is the call to make without a doubt!

I hear good things about the SE211's, but if you want a nice boost in low-end TQ and midrange performance, along with a modest improvement in peak HP, consider the SE255's. They make the power where I and most other touring bikers need it, below 4K RPM's--but they won't make you top dog at the pool hall for big HP numbers.

The SE211's shift the curve to the right a bit and may reduce low-end some without more compression, but it's a good cam to consider, especially with a modest compression increase like you suggest. The SE255's don't need more compression, but the SE Stage II kit (103) includes this cam set with 9.5 flat-tops.

I put the SE255's in my otherwise stock TC96 and I'm very pleased with the outcome. I also have the Fuel Moto Power Package (PCV-AT, AC, and Dyno-Tuned Jackpot mufflers).

I'm running a set of Wood's TW-6-6 Cam's in my '09 SG with a 2 into 1 exhaust, Big Sucker intake and a PCV-AT and I'm very happy with the results......Rich

You may need more compresion for the SE211 to work right. Look at adding a Cometic head gasket .030 thick. I got amazing results with it using the SE251 Cams
