Cool 08 Ultra tour pak

Is the tour pak on the 08 Ultra designed to move back any at all, or do you have to put a kit on it? Just trying to find a little more room when my wife and I are riding. I seem to remember reading something on it, but can't find it anymore. Does anyone know or have you done this? If so, how did you do it?

If you look under the tour pak you will see two recessed areas for the mounting bracket; one of them is being used. If the rear most position is being used, you can drill some holes as Dawg did recently and posted pics--gets you another 1" or so IIRC. Otherwise, George Anderson's relocatin kit is very popular here.

mine came from the dealer with it all the way back. I used the kuryakyn kit to move it back aprox 2". 2" dont sound like much but it sure gave us a lot more room.

+1 on George Anderson, then I lengthened the backrest "flap" and filled with dense seat foam.

+1 on George Anderson Kit, very well made out of aircraft aluminum and even better it's made in America and not Kury China junk.

George Anderson Tour Pak Relocator kit solved the problem. I went to the first setting (not all the way back) and it worked great.
