Default Blacked out Tribal Streetglide w/stretched bags

What a project!

It started out as a simple black touchup job to fix the rock marks and scratches that came from two cross country runs. Fairing and front fender only. From there it blossomed into blacking out the front end, going for bad dad stretched fender and bags, and turned into a whole-bike paint job with a pearl black tribal theme! What the hell, it was winter.

Two months on the rack. Weekends and evenings totally consumed. Made my share of mistakes that added time to the project. All said and done, I'm really happy with how it came out. I might not undertake another project of this size- but had a great experience that I will share with anyone that is willing to listen. Props to Jacob at Bad Dad for help on the phone. They make some nice stuff.

I'm just happy it's all back together and ready for the nice riding weather we're having here in SoCal! If there is still a bike of the month contest on this forum, I'd really appreciate the votes.

Check out my album to see the pictures I took during the whole process. https://www.hdforums.com/forum/membe...hxi-album.html

Nice job. That rear end is off the freaking hook! Funny how a small project can turn into changing everything.

Love the paint, graphics, and the whole bike overall, but you gotta' change those wheels man - that bike deserves something better on the front end than the stock wheel...
