Must Trike, Bad Knees

How about a side car instead?
You won't have to put your foot down, and when you go touring you will have TONS more storage. Trikes are nice, but I think a matching side car has a retro, nostalgic, atavistic and historical appeal. When my time comes, I'm getting a side car. Plus there will be enough space for BOTH the wife AND the girlfriend.......LOL!!!!

ask Voyager if they have statistics for the number of deaths that can be attributed to the Voyager. two very experienced riders were killed in Missouri in 2001 just after getting the Voyager installed. the kit doesn't do anything but hold the bike up. if a Voyager wheel climbs an obstacle it can lift the rear driving wheel off the ground losing traction. the kit is essentially a trailer and does nothing for the braking or handling that a true trike will.
It has the primary mission of holding your bike upright. It does at 1/3 the cost of an actual conversion.

1 yr old Bike + conversion = lots of cash - might want to see what a dealer would do on taking your bike in against a new HD Trike. Just my .02, but the HD Trike would have a bigger dealer netwrork for you to get parts and service for it vs. a smaller Trike mfg.
Please don't put the training wheel set up on it though - that's just wrong !
Ya might have bad knees but a trike will get you back in the breeze ! I'll ride one when the time comes !
