that looks great, at first though i thought it resembled a pto coupler from a john deere. lots of work went into it, and the filter element looked almost like cogs on a gear at first glance. sure looks nice though. great job.

LOL. Yeah I was the one who started that mod when the HB first came out. Dawg followed through with it with a few additional parts. There is a thread on it if you search.

Make sure you pull the darts before riding home. Looks like a dart board to me, but it seems like I am the minority and not a Trekkie. At any rate, cool idea to incorporate something unique to your personality.

That's cool dude...For sure your own....I have a question though...I want to know about moisture on or going into the filter....I am about to do something somewhat like that but wasn't sure???? BTW..don't worry i won't copy yours...Thanks in advance.

I like it. Just different enough that you most likely will never see another and it's very functional as well.

I've run open element filters for years and never had a problem with moisture. In fact I have been caught in downpours with no problem. You can buy a rainsock to cover the filter if it worries you.
