Again, check load ratings, they go down a bunch when using these tire combos. If you are comfortable with that, then have at it. I did a 17x6.25 and a 200 series on the rear, 18x3.5 on the front. To each their own.
Thanks guys, I'm drop-n the hammer tommorrow! I do believe the guy told me at hogpro about a 4 week turnaround. I will go with the 21 3.5 up front and the 17 6.25 on the rear with the 200mm tire... and renegade CHROME tahoe wheels... I can hardly stand it!!! 4 to 5 weeks according to renegade...yieshhhh! and that will be on a 2009 FLTR

this is brought up from time to time, but out of the thousands of bikes out there running around on"overloaded, underrated" 18 or 21" tires, I have NEVER read of a tire failure on a harley baged (not saying it has never happened but you sure never hear about it) due to "overloading". if it helps you sleep better at night, im fine with that but the doom mongering about it seems kinda silly.
They weight is even out on both wheels , the only way to actually overload the tire is to have the bike fully loaded then be in a perfect 90 degree wheelie or endo ..... and i think if you where in that position the last thing your thinking of is your tires load rating
