Default Jackpots on 09 EGC - Heat shields too short?

I just installed the Jackpots from my power package from FuelMotot and notice that the heat shield don't go all the way to the the rounded end of the pipes where the pipes get bigger. It seems that there is about 2" of chrome pipe where the heat shield doesn't cover. Doesn't really bother me but would like to know if this is true for others so that I'm not riding around on pipes made for some other model that got shipped to me by mistake.

Thanks
Conrad

That is how they fit, do your best to push them all the way forward - but there is about 1.5" break in the heatshield at the inlet to the muffler.

I'm experiencing a rattle with my left side muffler and have double and triple checked to make sure they are fully inserted but it sounds like the rattle is internal, so I plan to give them a call next week.

Great sounding muffler though! Good choice!
